Terms of Service
Effective July 26, 2026
These Terms govern access to EdensVeil, an adults-only, U.S.-resident task and submission platform operated by EdensVeil LLC (“EdensVeil,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, viewing a task, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Content and Submission Policy, and task-specific rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility; U.S. restriction
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter a contract, and currently reside in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. You may not use the Site from outside the United States, on behalf of a minor, or where participation is prohibited. You must provide an accurate legal full name, date of birth, and state of residence. We may suspend access if eligibility cannot be reasonably confirmed.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, maintain one account unless authorized, protect your password, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Your public display name may differ from your legal name. Your legal full name, payment information, and tax information must remain accurate.
4. How tasks work
Tasks are created, changed, paused, and closed through EdensVeil. Display names attached to tasks identify the task source and do not represent a member or outside requester. Members cannot create tasks or commission one another through the Site. Each task states its category, instructions, payout, compact label, claim capacity, claim window, submission period, and any other limits. A member must claim an available slot before submitting. A claim reserves one slot until it is submitted, released, or expires. Making a task available or accepting a claim is not a promise to accept the resulting submission.
5. Submission requirements
You must follow the task instructions and Content Policy. You represent and warrant that: (a) you and every participant are 18 or older; (b) every participant knowingly consented; (c) the work is legal; (d) you own or control all required rights; (e) the work does not violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contract, or other rights; and (f) your certifications and metadata are accurate. We may request additional releases or records before acceptance or payment.
6. Review, acceptance, and rejection
We may review files manually, place a submission under review, provide member-visible feedback, request revisions or proof, compare revisions against the brief, and accept or reject submissions in our reasonable discretion. A status of “submitted” or “under review” does not mean the work has been accepted. We may reject duplicative, incomplete, late, unlawful, unsafe, technically unusable, rights-infringing, or off-brief content.
7. Payouts and 180-day deadline
Each task displays a potential payout in U.S. dollars. For a submission that we accept and determine is eligible, we will issue payment no later than 180 calendar days after the original submission date. Payment may be sent to the saved PayPal email or by an email-delivered gift card, depending on the available method and your saved preference. You are responsible for keeping payment details current. We are not responsible for delay caused by incorrect information, a provider outage, sanctions screening, suspected fraud, a legal hold, tax documentation, or circumstances outside our reasonable control; however, we will use reasonable efforts to resolve eligible payments promptly.
Rejected, withdrawn, fraudulent, unlawful, rights-infringing, duplicate, or otherwise ineligible submissions are not payable. A listed payout is not wages, a deposit, a contest prize guaranteed to every entrant, or compensation for time spent preparing rejected work.
8. Taxes and independent status
You are an independent participant, not an employee, agent, partner, or contractor guaranteed ongoing work. You choose whether to complete a task, supply your own equipment, and control your creative process subject to the brief. You are responsible for taxes, licenses, reporting, and expenses. We may request tax forms or issue information returns where legally required.
9. Ownership and license
You retain ownership of your original submission until acceptance unless a task expressly says otherwise. By submitting, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, encrypt, decrypt, reproduce, review, moderate, secure, and internally evaluate the submission; create technical copies and thumbnails; investigate reports; and administer payment. If accepted and paid, you grant the additional usage rights stated in the task. If a task does not specify additional rights, the accepted-work license is non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, and permits EdensVeil to display, reproduce, edit for formatting, distribute, promote, and create promotional excerpts from the accepted work. Moral rights are waived only to the extent permitted by law.
10. Privacy and confidentiality
Submission files may contain highly sensitive information. We apply access controls and encryption at rest, but no system is perfectly secure. Authorized administrators may view the entire submission gallery for review, safety, support, legal compliance, and payment administration. Do not submit material you are not prepared for authorized administrators to review.
11. Prohibited conduct
You may not bypass security, scrape private content, share another person’s files, harass users or administrators, submit malware, manipulate payment status, create false reports, evade a suspension, use the Site for illegal services, or misrepresent a task display name as an outside requester or individual customer.
12. Removal, reporting, and preservation
We may disable access to content while reviewing a report. Submit removal requests through the Site or to [email protected]. We may preserve files and account records when reasonably necessary for security, disputes, legal obligations, law-enforcement requests, or protection of affected persons.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, close tasks, reject submissions, or retain funds associated with unlawful or fraudulent activity when reasonably necessary to protect the Site or comply with law. You may stop using the Site at any time. Account deletion requests are subject to legal retention, dispute, fraud-prevention, and payment records.
14. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY PARTICULAR TASK WILL REMAIN OPEN OR THAT ANY SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VESPERBOUNTY AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITY, OR LOST PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY OWED TO YOU FOR AN ACCEPTED SUBMISSION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO PART OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY.
16. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EdensVeil and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your submission, your breach of these Terms, your unlawful conduct, or an allegation that your content violates another person’s rights, except to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to send a written dispute notice to [email protected] and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Except for small-claims matters or requests for emergency injunctive relief, disputes will be resolved by confidential, individual binding arbitration in Laramie County, Wyoming, under mutually agreed commercial arbitration rules. Class and representative proceedings are waived to the extent permitted by law. You may reject this arbitration clause by emailing a signed opt-out notice within 30 days after first accepting these Terms.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, presented for renewed acceptance. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
