Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how EdensVeil LLC collects, uses, discloses, secures, and retains information through EdensVeil.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to EdensVeil accounts, tasks, submissions, payments, support, safety reports, and administrative tools. The Site is restricted to adults residing in the United States.

2. Information we collect

Account information

Legal full name, email address, public display name, password hash, date of birth, state of residence, U.S.-residency attestation, terms-acceptance records, role, account timestamps, and security logs.

Submission information

Uploaded images, video, audio, documents, filenames, file type and size, submission notes, task association, claim and revision history, status, member-visible reviewer feedback, private review notes, technical hashes, and timestamps. Submission files, original filenames, and submission notes are encrypted at rest.

Payment information

Your selected method and PayPal email or gift-card delivery email. Payment destinations are encrypted at rest. Payment providers may separately collect information under their own policies.

Technical information

IP address, device and browser details, session identifiers, requested pages, rate-limit events, security events, and approximate location inferred from IP where used by infrastructure providers. We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location.

Reports

Name, email, content URL or reference, description, certification, status, and communications related to a safety or removal request.

3. How we use information

• Provide accounts, manage tasks, receive encrypted submissions, and display status.
• Review work, enforce rules, investigate fraud or abuse, and protect participants.
• Administer payouts within the applicable deadline and maintain tax or accounting records.
• Respond to support, privacy, legal, and content-removal requests.
• Secure, debug, audit, improve, and maintain the Site.
• Comply with law, lawful process, recordkeeping duties, and protection of rights and safety.

4. Legal bases and consent

Depending on the context, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, comply with legal obligations, and act with your consent. You may withdraw consent where applicable, but withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.

5. Disclosure

We may disclose information to infrastructure, hosting, security, analytics, payment, accounting, professional-adviser, and support providers that need it to perform services; to law enforcement or regulators when legally required; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer; and to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Site. We do not sell personal information for money. EdensVeil does not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Administrator access

Authorized administrators can view legal names and other user records, payment destinations, submission notes, and the entire decrypted submission gallery when necessary for review, moderation, safety, legal compliance, support, and payment. Administrator access is role-limited, logged, and subject to periodic access review.

7. Encryption and security

EdensVeil uses password hashing, session protections, access controls, file-type and size limits, AES-256-GCM encryption at rest for uploaded file contents and selected sensitive fields, and secure cookies when served over HTTPS. Encryption keys are stored separately from encrypted files. No security measure eliminates all risk, and we periodically review safeguards as the service changes.

8. Retention

We retain account information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary afterward for security, disputes, taxes, enforcement, and legal obligations. Submission files may be retained through review, payment, licensing, safety investigations, and applicable limitation periods. Rejected material should be deleted or anonymized under an operator-defined schedule unless preservation is reasonably necessary. Payment and audit records may be retained for at least seven years where appropriate for accounting and legal purposes. Removal requests may be retained to document compliance and prevent repeat abuse.

9. Your choices and rights

You may update payment preferences in your account and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by contacting [email protected]. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, or opt out of certain sales, sharing, profiling, or targeted advertising. We may verify requests and deny or limit them where an exception applies. You may appeal a denial by replying to the decision.

10. Age and children

The Site is not directed to children and does not permit anyone under 18. We collect a date of birth and adult-residency attestations during registration. EdensVeil does not use an automated identity-document verification flow. If we learn that an ineligible person supplied information, we may disable the account and delete or preserve information as required for safety and law enforcement.

11. U.S.-only processing

The Site is intended for U.S. residents and information is processed in the United States. Do not use the Site from another country.

12. Cookies and sessions

We use essential session cookies for authentication, security, CSRF protection, and preferences. EdensVeil does not use advertising cookies. Browser settings may block cookies, but the Site may not function without essential cookies.

13. Content removal and intimate imagery

People affected by non-consensual or unauthorized intimate imagery may use the report and removal form. We may request information reasonably necessary to identify the content, verify authority, prevent abuse, and document action taken.

14. Changes

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. We will post a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
